Erasmus+ teaching mobility aims to develop the teaching capacity of academic staff in different cultural contexts, to share cultures and to set a precedent for future exchanges of partner schools.
Within the scope of the Erasmus+ Bilateral Agreement on teaching mobility between the Sociology departments of TED University and University College Cork (UCC), we hosted Dr. Amin Sharifi Isaloo from UCC in October 2023. Dr. Gülçin Con Wright also went to UCC in March 2025. In this context, she gave a seminar titled "Families in Later Life: Intergenerational Family Ties and Exchanges of Support in Turkish and American Families" based on her own research to the department academic staff and postgraduate Sociology students. In addition, she gave a course titled "Families in Later Life" in the undergraduate course of Family Sociology.
