Our department member Dr. Gülçin Con Wright made a presentation titled "Grandmothers to the Rescue: Challenges of Grandchild Care during the Covid-19 Pandemic" for the 11th European Feminist Research Conference held at Milan University between 15-18 June 2022.
Our Faculty Member Dr. Gülçin Con Wright's report titled "Aging and Gender Equality: Mapping and Monitoring Study" was published at the beginning of July 2022 within the scope of the Gender Equality Monitoring Centre's "Strengthening Participatory Democracy in Turkey: Monitoring Gender Equality Project Phase II". On December 5, 2020, Şirin Tekeli Awards, organized by SU Gender (Sabancı University Gender and Women's Studies Center of Excellence), found their owners. Our department member, Dr. Gülçin Con Wright's research proposal, titled "Understanding the Experiences of Women as Grandmothers in Later Life in Turkey," was awarded the Research Incentive Award by the jury members.
